Having thoroughly enjoyed my 24 hours in the Bulgarian capital it was time to head back to the airport for my flight home with Wizz Air. With Wizz having sent out an email specifically advising arriving at the airport 3 hours before the flight, I left the city centre with about 4 hours until departure to allow time for the metro and shuttle bus

LTN to SOF Wizz Economy
With a new passport in hand and an itching to explore somewhere new, I booked a trip to a destination that is somewhat cursed for me, Sofia. With trips to the Bulgarian capital booked, and unfortunately cancelled, on three previous occasions, I was hoping for a more successful attempt this time round. Arriving at Luton just after 0530, I had made it further than previous trips and just had to navigate my way through the airport at rush hour.
KRK to LTN Wizz Economy
Having spent 36 hours or so exploring the wonderful city of Krakow, it was time to head to the station to begin my journey home. As with my flight out to Krakow, my flight home was with Wizz Air, but first I had to catch the half hourly service between Krakow Glówny station and Krakow Airport.
LTN to KRK Wizz Economy
With six and a half months left on my passport, I had decided that there was just enough time to maximise its use and take another trip before that pesky, post-Brexit, six-month expiry rule kicked in. Therefore, with a cheap hostel booked and some equally cheap flights, I was up and heading to Luton at 0400 ready for my flight to Krakow with Wizz.
ZRH to LHR Swiss Economy
Having arrived from Prague into the airline’s largest hub at Zurich, my onward flight, and the last of my trip, was of course with Swiss International Air Lines. When planning my itinerary, I’d tried to balance giving myself enough time for any connections, whilst also attempting to get onboard different aircraft for each leg.
PRG to ZRH Swiss Economy
After a very busy few days ticking off three new countries, exploring three new cities and travelling on three international trains it was time to break the run of threes and catch the first of two flights that would get me back to Heathrow to end my trip. Despite booking my flights with Lufthansa, I was actually flying with a different member of the Lufthansa Group, Swiss International Air Lines, commonly known simply as Swiss.
