After a soggy but interesting day exploring Oslo, I headed back to the Oslo S to catch the train north to the airport.

Oslo – Destination Report
As you may have seen on social media, and from my previous post (here), last month I headed to another new country and visited the Norwegian capital, Oslo.
Travel Tips
I’ve recently had a few conversations with friends who enjoy travelling and realised that there are various travel tips and tricks I am aware that others aren’t. A couple of people have encouraged me to do a blog of these various tips and so below are five of my favourite tips and tricks that I have discovered whilst travelling.
LHR to OSL British Airways Euro Traveller
On a cold and foggy morning in November, I woke to a 4AM alarm at Heathrow Terminal 4’s Premier Inn. Despite staying near Terminal 4, I was flying with British Airways (BA) and so headed downstairs to get a bus round to BA’s home at Terminal 5.
MYB – BMO Chiltern Railways – Business Zone
In October I headed to Birmingham for an event and decided to sample what would be a new product for me, Chiltern Railway’s Business Zone. I’ve traveled up the Chiltern Mainline to Birmingham multiple times, enticed by the extremely cheap advance fares available, however I’ve never been lucky enough to time my trip to coincide with one of the handful of trains each day that have the Business Zone available.
LDS – PBO LNER Mk4 – 1st Class
After a day riding the rails of West Yorkshire, I was back at Leeds station a couple of hours before my train back to Peterborough. As with my journey north, I was able to get an Advance Single, just three days before travel, for £29.05 travelling in first class, and so when I got back to Leeds, I headed towards LNER’s first class lounge.
