For those of you expecting the second part of my Bilbao explorations, apologies, time ran away from me during the week I needed to write it. To try and meet my own publishing deadline of 1100 on a Monday, I’ve decided to throw this mini blog into the mix, as it was a lot quicker to write and its been on my list of ideas to do for a while. DUS-BRU Eurostar – Comfort
Having had around 44 hours in Düsseldorf, exploring it and the surrounding area, it was time to start making my way back to England. This journey would essentially be the reverse of my journey out, with me first catching a train to Brussels, before changing onto another that would take me through the Channel Tunnel back to London. As with the journey out, the entirety of the journey back I would be travelling with Eurostar, however for the trip home I had upgraded to Standard Premier.
Derry – A City of Many Names – Part 2
My only full day in Derry dawned with the weather looking like it was going to provide another good day. I decided to start the day with a walk from my accommodation down to the banks of the River Foyle, an area known as the Quayside. It was here that I found my spot for breakfast and enjoyed an excellent fry up at Primrose on the Quay.
